Hi, I'm a guy who isn't a stalker and still dislikes texting who just moved back to Greensboro from Asheville this past July. Sweet, nice, smart, not insane, and more attractive than my photo. I'm a writer. I have an Associate of Arts from GTCC, a Bachelor's in creative writing and literature from UNC Asheville, an MA in English from Western Carolina University, and a Master's in Liberal Arts (this is an actual real degree) from UNC Asheville. I'm not really getting a whole lot out of them at this moment but I plan on taping them to the inside of my closet door pretty soon. I do have a steady source of income other than being a writer. I have good style (sort of "mod", I am told), wear black clothes most days, and my current hobbies include reading Best American Essays anthologies and books about gentrification as well as taking photos of Greensboro and Asheville. I was in bands for about six years until I got totally sick of it but I might have to start another one soon. Other juvenile factoids include: I have too many favorite writers to list, I think that social media turns consenting adults into tweeners, I like many kinds of food and at least several different movies, my parents are divorced but still living, this is not actually a joke but sometimes I feel like online dating services are. I like British and American postpunk from the 1970's and 1980's, some '70's "classic rock," death rock from 30 years ago, some metal, some rap, 1980's and '90's hardcore, and other types of music. I don't have a favorite movie but it would probably be a documentary if I did. I'm in all seriousness NOT using this to solicit sex or jump into an intensive monogamous relationship with a stranger. I am, however, single and though I have many friends in the area they are all either married, dating somebody, or have given up. Not me though, buddy. I did this back in Asheville and met some nice people but knew that I was moving soon plus Asheville is expensive as crap and not a great place to date unless one wins the North Carolina Education Lottery. TMI, man. Since I'm not a social media nut I'm okay with just giving out my phone number but that's certainly often safer if one is a guy.
