About me, i will like to say that I am totally new to this online dating. My best friend Richard who met his wife on this site just last November created this for me and asked me to try but i realize its unlike Facebook and Twitter. Thats all social that i have used. That was just by the way, my full name is Austin Scott Miller and i am from Hawaii USA.. I was born in Hawaii but my mother was from Brazil so when she divorced my father at my 8th age we moved to live in Brazil and came to USA when i was 21 that was when i went to college. And joined the army after college. I joined the service in 1983 till date. I will be 57 this year.. was born on May 15th 1961 in Hawaii. I am a United States Army general who currently serves as the commander of NATO's Resolute Support Mission and U.S. Forces - Afghanistan. I just took a short vacation to visit my friend who retired last year and his family here in New York. I have been here since 18th of March. I like it here and also for the fact that i have not been on vacation since 2010 i am having much fun. On this site i dont want much, i just want to love and be loved in return. I am tired of being lonely. I want to love again because love is a universal language of every heart. I enjoy going to the movies, live theatre, dining out,attending special events in the city & listening to music. Enjoy card & board games. Like to spend time down at the beach that I live 6 blocks from. Meeting family or friends for dinner or drinks & spending the evening together.
I listen to a lot of Christian worship & old country. Also like jazz, blues, 70's, 80's rock n' roll.
My favourite author growing up was Agatha Christie & I have collected all her books over the years. I now read a lot of Christian mystery/suspense. Comedy and police shows are what I usually watch on tv. One of my fav movies is Sabrina with Harrison Ford.
I'm looking for a Christian woman that is honest, loving, kind & will treat me with respect & dignity. A woman who will listen, take interest & want to get to know me as a person. I would want to be interested in getting to know my partner & what makes her unique as well. A sense of humour is not a must, a woman who is gentle, compassionate, honest, sincere, & who would express her feelings for me by touch, or expressing in words. Becoming friends would be the first goal & then move on from there. I am interested in a long term/marriage relationship.
This site doesn't give enough options for some questions. I would only date some one who has adult kids. All my grandkids are adults so I'm not looking to help raise some one else's kids.
